Hike to the heart of York’s watershed with local historian, Kevin Freeman—This hike is about 5 miles long. We will explore several old family burial plots along the way and talk about a community long ago abandoned and arrive at the site of Bragdon’s Mill and Upper Folly Dam. Be prepared for uneven ground and hiking off trail as we investigate what may be two Paleolithic sites that were investigated by a 20th century archeologist. Sufficient water and a snack are highly recommended. The entire hike will take about 3-4 hours depending on sites visited. We will meet at the first red gate on Fall Mill Extension at 10:am on Saturday, September 26.
